- When I get to the site, it says that I need the Macromedia Flash player, where do i get it?

- Does Pure Online offer scholarships?
This has been a very difficult decision for us, but at this time we do not offer scholarships for the program. Our primary reason is that our experience has shown that if a man has his own money invested in his recovery, then his chances of success increase. Conversely, if a man is given a scholarship, he has less at stake and is generally less committed to completing a recovery program.
Please contact us if your situation requires more consideration.
- Does Pure Online replace counseling or group therapy?
Definitely not. Part of the "plan of attack" you will learn while going through Pure Online involves meeting with a counselor, accountability partners, and potentially an accountability or recovery group.
- The video clips are "choppy" or "jittery", is there something wrong?
The Pure Online program contains video content that requires a great deal of bandwidth. To participate in the workshop, you need to have a high-speed Internet connection (i.e., DSL, cable Internet, T1, or other high-speed connection.)
Most offices have high-speed connections as do almost all Starbucks (bring your headphones to listen to the audio.) If you are on a high-speed connection and still experience some "jitter" or "choppiness", try clicking on one of the bandwidth buttons in the green area of the Pure Online controls that are marked with "AUDIO - LOW - MEDIUM - HIGH" to change to a lower resolution version of the workshop if needed.
- I want to speak to a counselor about pornography addiction, does your program offer live counseling?
At this time we do not. Pure Online is an entirely online, rich-media program and is designed to give you a solid foundation for your recovery from sex addiction. We do highly recommend you talk with someone about your situation - especially a good accountability partner and a Christian counselor or pastor. There are numerous listings on our ""Other Resources"" page that may help.
- My struggle involves homosexuality. Does this program help with this kind of issue?
Yes. Joe Dallas’ background is extensive in this area as he has written numerous books and articles on the subject of homosexuality and the gay lifestyle. The Pure Online program does not specifically address the topic in depth, but it will give you the tools you need to better understand what you are going through and will help you begin the recovery process.
- What will show up on my credit card statement?
If you choose to pay with your credit card, a charge will appear on your statement with the description, "PURE ONLINE". However, we are committed to maintaining your complete privacy and so have also provided a way for you to pay anonymously using Pay Pal.
- What is your return policy?
We will issue you a full refund under the following conditions:
a) if you experience technical difficulties with the program and are unable to watch the videos successfully, or b) if you are not satisfied with the program and you are within 10 days from the date of signup.
- How many times can I view the chapters?
You will have access to the Pure Online site and all the Chapters in it for a period of 1 year. During this time, you may review the content as many times as you wish. We want you to have the flexibility to review the program as much as you are interested in doing so but discourage the sharing of your username & password with others.
- What other programs are you working on?
We are working on a program for wives and one for pastors that will each be ready by the end of 2005.
